How To Know What Your Beliefs Are And Change Them

When I woke up to the bs in my head, I realised that everything in my external reality was a manifestation of my dominant thoughts and beliefs 

A belief is a thought that repeats over and over again until your subconscious mind accepts it as the truth. It will have emotion attached to it which is why when we’re changing our beliefs we need to use emotion in the process

These thoughts and beliefs start in childhood. Can they be formed from an event that happens over and over again (abuse in my case) or a single event that sticks in your mind and causes you to think a certain way about yourself that then becomes a belief (something a parent, teacher, sibling, friends said or did etc) 

Something might’ve happened to make you feel unworthy

Less than

Not confident 

Even though these beliefs feel real, they’re not who you are 

These beliefs, feeling less than, not worthy, not confident are holding you back and will continue to do so until they’re changed. Can you see right now how your thoughts are creating your world? Your reality?  Everything you have, do and are is what you believe you are capable of. Worthy of. Deserving of. And it’s all in your head



Using what I’m about to teach you right now will help you make massive shifts and changes in your life so you can start taking steps towards your goals, dreams and desires and believe that yes you are someone who can achieve them

I used to think I didn’t matter. That I didn’t deserve to be heard. That no-one wanted to hear what I had to say. That’s there’s no point even trying to change because I’m so traumatised because of what happened to me. This is just how it is, how I am so I might as well accept it 

Thank goodness I woke up to the bs! I had to. It literally nearly killed me. That’s another story for another day

That day I woke up to the bs, I knew I was here for a reason. That everything I experienced was for a reason. That reason was to help people. How could I do that with all that bs running around my head? I couldn’t. Even if you’ve had those thoughts and beliefs all your life (I did too) it’s never too late, you’re not too old, you’re not too damaged 

If you’re done with holding yourself back. You know things need to change. You can start right now

First of all, let’s go back to the day I woke up and the beliefs I had. I wanted to start my own business where I could help people who were struggling with the bs in their head. I believe this to be my soul purpose in life. How could I do that thinking I didn’t matter? That I didn’t deserve to be heard. That no-one wanted to hear what I had to say. That’s there’s no point even trying to change because I’m so traumatised because of what happened to me

I couldn’t 

I had to believe I do matter 

I do deserve to be heard 

People not only want to hear what I have to say, they need to 

I’m not so damaged I can’t change this. I looked to other people who had experienced what I had and changed their lives for the better. If they could do it, I could too. There was my proof. The mind always looks for proof to reinforce our beliefs 

I help people quit their 9-5 so they can create their purpose led business but they stay stuck in fear which keeps them stuck in the 9-5 they desperately want out of 



Here’s what to do. You can do it right now. All you need is a pen/pencil and paper

Knowing what your current beliefs are and what beliefs you need to have 

Step 1 - Look at why you’re staying in a situation you don’t want to be in. What do you believe about yourself and your ability to change it? 

Step 2 - Look at people who have already done what you want to do. What do they believe about themselves? (See notes below if you’re stuck on this) 

How to change your beliefs so you can be the person who achieves their goals  

Step 1 - Who do I have to be to achieve what I want to achieve? 

Step 2 - What does this version of me believe about myself so I can do what I want to do and create my purpose led business? (See notes below if you’re stuck on this)

Step 3 - What does this version of me who has already achieved this reality feel and see? Visualise it. Feel it. Our subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between reality and imagination. Visualisation is a powerful process that will help you with your goals which is why athletes use it

Step 4 - Look at your answers to number 2 above. Feel those beliefs with emotion. Every time you think a bad thought about yourself full of doubt and fear remind yourself of these beliefs. Connect to your heart while you’re doing it. Feel the love coming from it. Feel the joy, happiness and bliss. Love is the most powerful emotion there is. Put your hands on your heart and say them with feeling. Say them to yourself in the mirror. Record them into your phone and listen to them when you can. When you wake up in the morning and go to bed are good times to do this 

Step 5 - Repeat step 4 over and over again until you start to believe. DO NOT GIVE UP!!! I’ve done this so many times and had to start again because I told myself they weren’t working. Please don’t do this! Be patient and give yourself time. You’ll be wasting even more time in your life if you don’t 

Step 6 - Take action NOW! What one thing can you do now to get you off the path you don’t want to be on and on the one you do want to be on? Action is sometimes the only solution to getting over our fears. They’re not going to magically disappear by themselves!

Believe me when I tell you this. You have everything you need within you to change your life. You can choose to believe that or not. We’re all here for a reason with our own gifts and talents that can help change the world and make it a better place. How you do that is up to you. You know what my purpose is. You know you have an idea that will help people. Provide value to people’s lives. It’s your duty to share it for the benefit of those you can help to make their lives better. You have a duty to share it to make your life better too by being the full expression of who you are and releasing what’s in your heart and soul into the world 

You just need to believe it and be the person who believes you have what it takes
