How To Trust Yourself So You Can Quit The Job You Hate And Create A Business You Love

Every fear you have about quitting your job so you can create your purpose led business has nothing to do with the external 

The list of external factors you have that you tell yourself are stopping you don’t compare to the power you have in yourself 

I know it all seems so hard. I’m a single parent and have been for nearly 13 years. It’s been hard but the rewards far outweigh the days I have struggled 

It’s all about the inner game

The lack of trust in yourself. Lack of trust = lack of confidence. Which indicates an issue with self worth 

I never trusted myself for most of my life because I thought what happened to me when I was a child was my fault. I had to build that trust 



Here are some things I’ve done and you can do to build yours 


  • Do what you say you’re going to do. Be a good friend to yourself and keep the promises you make to yourself 


  • Avoid people who don’t want the best for you. Who don’t want to see you succeed. Who laugh at your dreams because they don’t dare to dream as big as you. You might not be able to cut them out completely but you can spend less time with them 


  • Stop talking to yourself like crap. Seriously. Just stop it. What do you get out of it? Learn from your mistakes and love yourself anyway 


  • Stop giving too much attention to other people’s opinions. You know yourself better than anyone 


  • Write down what you like about yourself. Look at it when you feel like you’re going into ‘I’m going to beat myself up for no good reason’ mode 


  • Do the things that scare you. The things you say you can’t do. Stop limiting yourself based on past thoughts about who you are and what you’re capable of 


  • Give yourself time. Be patient. You don’t expect to see results after one gym session. You don’t expect to see results after one healthy meal. Growth takes time 


  • It’s easy to visualise everything going wrong, right? Visualise everything going right. Visualise what you want, how you want things to go, not how you don’t. Feel how it would feel when you’re there. Feel that feeling now. Do this every morning if you can. And every night before you go to sleep. This is so powerful for getting you on the path of where you want to go 


  • In every moment you find yourself feeling down about yourself ask yourself this:

If I truly and deeply loved myself what would do? 


Give the gift of love that you give so freely to others to yourself
